Dear new HEC Students,

After many efforts, you have succeeded in getting in to HEC Paris. Your BDE Inglorious But Starz (BDE stands for "Bureau des Elèves" - Students' body) would like to congratulate you
for your success. We are delighted to welcome you in the very large HEC community.

You will be studying in a very dynamic environment : HEC Paris is renowned all over the world for its ties with the business world and its extremely active alumni network.
You will be living on a magnificent campus, you will be able to take advantage of its unique academic infrastructures as well as enjoy its numerous sports facilities. HEC Paris shelters more than a 100 associations, entirely run by HEC students. You will
have the unique opportunity to join some of the associations or even create your own!

During your stay at HEC, your BDE (Students' Body) and its 36 members, will offer you :

- The legendary HEC Parties, EVERY THURSDAY
- Every week, numerous events : sporting events, games, movie projections, brunches,
breakfasts, diners, theater plays...
- Trips throughout Europe, forums with major companies, internship offers...
- An indispensable support for your relations with the administration (courses, lodging,
internships...)

For all these reasons, it is strongly recommended that you pay your subscription to the BDE.
Indeed, only BDE subscribers are allowed to take part in all these events described above
and take advantage of the following advantages :

- Extremely preferential prices for HEC Parties (3€ for the Thursday parties instead of 15€,
10€ instead of 25€ for HEC's big parties open to outsiders)
- Only HEC subscribers will be able to participate in the BDE Campaign that takes place each
year
